At the foot of An Teallach we are as close to the Scottish Mountains as it is possible to be and the flooding tide comes upto our car park! Otters and herons feed on the tide and wild goats roam the road in the front of the hotel. From the hotel doorstep relaxing walks can be taken through fields, farms and woods following the burn and up into the moors. Or you can head directly to the airy spires of An Teallach now as famous for its summer scramble across the summit as its winter ice climbing. In the area are 20 of Scotlands most famous Munros and a clutch of challenging Corbetts.
